Q & A with Claire Seringhaus

Check out Halifax's alt weekly The Coast for a very enlightening take on Claire Seringhaus and the launch of her new book The Blaring House. Claire rocked the Haus in Halifax at Lost and Found where she still has drawings up, and then in Montreal where she gave a hilarious and fact filled presentation on her drawing process. Quirky to say the least. Awesome to say the most! Here is an excerpt: "I suppose in my small way I kind of hope the pictures are some kind of little invitation to engage. People can just scan them, or they can create...

Shary Boyle Rules!

Breaking news is that the multi-talented Shary Boyle has been selected to be Canada's representative at the forthcoming Venice Biennale. Congrats to Shary! This book has been reprinted and there are still copies available! Let's try and get it to third printing! Below is a sample drawing from the book. Then in April 2008...
