Upcoming events

So tis the season for sure. Lots of exciting events coming up this Fall. Hope to see you all there (or at least at the one in your town). Let’s begin:

Halifax: Pop Explosion Zine Fair: Saturday, October 20, noon-5pm
St. David’s Church Halll, 1537 Brunswick Street
Conundrum will be there with bells on. Also sporting bells will be Claire Seringhaus, hot off her Fringe performance, to sign The Blaring House.

TorontoCanzine Sunday October 21
918 Bathurst, 1-7pm
Nina Bunjevac will be hosting the Conundrum table and signing her new hardcover Heartless. Other Conundrumites in attendance with new books will be Britt Wilson and Dave Lapp.

Brooklyn: Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival Saturday November 10, 12-7
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church
275 North 8th Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY
Although Conundrum has exhibited before at this heavily curated festival, this will be my first time in attendance. I’ll be there with Robin McConnell, of Inkstuds fame.

Montreal: Expozine November 17-18, 12-6pm
5035, rue Saint-Dominique
Since being a founder of this festival 11 years ago, it has become the premiere event of the season for me. Crazy times, lots of friends, bilingual, so much so much. I’ll be driving up with the kids and meeting with good ol Joe Ollmann, who will help me out in my usual spot near the door. We will be debuting two new Fall titles, Fanny & Romeo and Serial Villain. Pascal Girard and Sherwin Tjia will be in attendance. Hopefully All Citizens will show up off the boat, in which case Serena McCarroll will be signing as well. Michel Rabagliati will take time out from his Salon de Livres duties to sign at the Conundrum table. Nina Bunjevac and Britt Wilson will also come in from Toronto to sign. Signing schedule to come. Stay tuned!
