For immediate release:

Nova Scotia based Conundrum Press is stepping up their game May 11-12 for the Toronto Comic Art Festival.

This year they have outdone themselves by debuting five new titles, including three by Doug Wright Award winners and two by featured guests of the festival.

Michel Rabagliati is a Quebec icon for his semi-autobiographical Paul series of graphic novels. His previous debut The Song of Roland is up for a Doug Wright Award this year, to be presented at the festival. Paul Joins the Scouts is his latest translated work. Rabagliati is a featured guest at TCAF.

Another featured guest is Hong Kong artist Chihoi, appearing for the first time in Canada, in support of his first book in English, The Library. This book of Kafkaesque stories is the first in the new Conundrum International Imprint.

Obituary Man is the third book by Quebec City native Philippe Girard to be translated from the French by Conundrum.

The Grey Museum is a galactic romp from former Doug Wright Award winner and Toronto native Lorenz Peter.

Science Fiction is the follow up to Joe Ollmann’s widely popular Mid-Life which was nominated for a Doug Wright Award. Montreal-based Ollmann won the Doug Wright Award in 2007 for This Will All End in Tears.
